... A fine grey rain hung over the city of Great Britain again. People hurried along the streets, muffling up from the gusty wind.
Saint Patrick stopped in the front of the high oak doors of the nearest pub. He had no money as it is a custom for saint beings. In addition the strict celestial leadership has prohibited Patrick to work wonders, he was already in their disobedient list. «There is nothing to do» - signed Patrick and was already about to cross the street to the other side.
- Come in a good man! - Suddenly he’s heard from behind. – When it rains so, a good owner will not leave even a dog outside and you get wet ... – A man in the pink of health with moustaches warmly smiled to Patrick behind the half opened door.
- But I have even no money ... - Drawled Patrick a little bit dismayed, he was unused to the hospitality of Chester middle class.
- Then I treat!
A shrill violin melody and sweet smell of fried chicken reached Patrick’s ears and nose. The legs crossed the threshold of cozy Chester pub by their own.
A glass of really good beer did not finish that night. The moustached robust turned out to be not only a good host. He had a good understanding in delicious recipes of sophisticated English cooking, was sincere in communication and unsurpassed joker.
At parting Saint Patrick thanked the host for the hospitality ands wished many visitors to the Chester pub, prosperity and all the best...
